SCRATCH TEST

TeamCom

The crew channel, in your pocket.

TeamCom is a push-to-talk intercom for film and video crews. Every department gets its own channel; hold to talk, call another department, or listen in on theirs. It runs on the iPhones and Macs the crew already has, through a small server the production runs itself.

What it does

Channels, calls, listening

Hold your channel to talk to your department. Hold another channel to call it without leaving your own. Tap LISTEN to keep an ear on camera, grip, or production while you work.

Hands free

Latch the mic from the screen or your headphones' button, and keep hearing the crew with the phone locked in your pocket.

Background voices removed

On-device voice isolation cuts the chatter around you before you're heard, with AirPods, wired headsets, or the phone's own mic.

On set or anywhere

On the set's Wi-Fi it talks to the server directly. Walk off the network and it moves to the internet on its own, then comes back to the local network when you do.

Your server, encrypted

The server is a Mac on set (or a Raspberry Pi). Voice goes between the crew and that server, encrypted, and nowhere else.

In public beta on TestFlight. iPhone on iOS 17 or newer; the server and desktop app run on a Mac with macOS 14 or newer.
