SCRATCH TEST

Circle Take

The camera report, kept at the speed of the set.

Circle Take is a camera report for iPhone, built by a camera assistant for the way loaders and ACs actually keep one. Film or digital, one camera or several, every take lands on a report you'd be happy to hand to the lab or post.

What it does

Film and digital reports

Film rolls carry mag, stock, emulsion, load, push/pull, and the running footage counter, with totals for good, no good, waste, and short ends. Digital cameras log cards, clips, codec, resolution, and LUT. Both export as a clean PDF laid out like the paper report.

Every camera, its own slate

A, B, C — each camera keeps its own scene, take, timecode, roll, and fields, with a tape colour you can pick out at a glance. Share one slate across cameras when you're rolling together.

Tap, say, or ask Siri

Presets first, keyboard last. Or tap the mic and say it — “scene 14 bravo, 40 mil, T2.8, focus 9 feet” — or say “Circle Take log” to Siri and tell it what changed. Anything wrong comes off with one undo.

Lock Screen slate

A Live Activity keeps the scene and take on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with Roll, Cut, Circle, and Next take right there.

Timecode, optional

Run from time of day or jam from the camera — point the phone at running timecode and it reads it. Or turn timing off entirely for a plain report: nothing is ever filled in that you didn't give it.

In public beta on TestFlight. Requires an iPhone on iOS 26. Voice logging works best with Apple Intelligence turned on; camera height measuring needs a LiDAR iPhone.
